Photography is NOT dead.

You're entitled to your own opinion, but I'm gonna tell you right now: photography is not dead.

Because see, right out of the gate, if *you* see it as dead, that's on you. That's your perspective, so that's where you are in your journey as an artist. Completely valid, but does not mean that it's dead to everyone else.

And it certainly does not mean that it's dead overall.

If you've moved completely into AI-generated imagery, and that works for you, and that's what you want to do, more power to you. But photography is not invalidated by artificial intelligence image rendering, no more than painting was invalidated by photographs.

So if you've been wondering, if you've been worried, if you've been reading headlines, doom-scrolling on social media endlessly, and thinking, what's the point anymore?

I'm here to tell you, there's a fucking point.

It's called vision. It's called being an artist, and being in a moment that did not exist five seconds prior, that will never happen again, and that you captured; that you crafted.

You're not rendering images from datasets. You're beautifully stealing human moments to share. They can be candid, they can be powerful, they can be beautiful, they can be shocking. Doesn't matter. Those moments will never be invalidated because they actually existed. They happened. They're part of humanity and its visual history.

AI rendering has its place. So be it. But photography is nowhere near dead.
