Skin Depth Pro 2 is my Photoshop toolkit for controlling skin depth, tone, and color while keeping the entire process editable and non-destructive.
Using NBP's HSB replacement system, SDP2 gives you independent control over shadows, midtones, and highlights, allowing you to sculpt dimension and refine Hue, Saturation, and Brightness within specific tonal zones. A dedicated Gradient Map Color Wash provides an additional way to unify and grade skin color.

The latest update adds dedicated tools for correcting red, blotchy, and uneven skin.
Because redness usually isn't just a color problem, Skin Depth Pro addresses hue, saturation, and luminosity separately, helping problem areas blend naturally with the surrounding skin instead of simply becoming less saturated.
The Automatic workflow handles most common situations quickly and can even be incorporated into batch processing.
For difficult images, the Manual workflow uses a custom Hue/Saturation-based targeting system with adjustable color ranges and transition ramps, giving you much more precise control over exactly which areas are corrected.
Corrections are further constrained using Photoshop's AI Skin selection, while every mask, HSL adjustment, Curve, and opacity remains completely editable.
An additional Hue Uniformity tool can gently bring inconsistent skin colors toward the subject's own average skin hue for a more cohesive result.
